Recently, we have been working on a customization project for Sage CRM. The client is in the housing service industry and would like us to modify their existing CRM to support their special operational needs for their student housing account management. One of the requirements is to automate the process of creating Red Flag email as well as updating some fields after the email is sent.
We added an action “Create Red Flag email” under the specified workflow.
After users click on the button, they will be directed to a custom page with a selection field and email template. On the page, they can fill in the Red Flag Reason from the drop-down list and select an appropriate email template. Users are able to enter additional text to the email content and then hit send.
Finally, after the email is sent successfully, some predefined fields on the summary screen is updated. Also, a communication record will be inserted against both the school contact and student account.
With the customization, it streamlines the process and saves users lots of time and effort. If you have any specific custom solution request, please let me know.
