INTERNET APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
MID MARKET ERP DEVELOPMENT
Last week, I took Intacct Platform Services certification training. It is great for me to understand how to develop quickly programs with Intacct. Below is one of my practice programs. It takes customer information from Intacct through an Ajax web API call and shows them in a grid.
ip_setCredentials: sets user's credentials to perform calls. Parameters:
companyid: Intacct company ID
userid: user name
password: user password
ip_readByQuery: wrapper for API readByQuery function. Parameters:
object: object name
fields: comma-separated list of fields or *
query: query to use
pagesize: record counts for each call
returnFormat: “xml”, “json” and “csv”
In the function “callback,” it has a parameter named “responseText”. It includes a customer data return from the Intacct server. Then the function “CreateCustomerGrid” shows the data on the grid.
Below is the screen shot for the customer grid. It’s very simple to get data from Intacct server through web API call.
